The Bacti-cell concept could possibly be the last word in filter design for the traditional mechanical ventilation system, and the most effective means yet of minimising the risk of Sick Building Syndrome and the consequent expense of employee ill health and absenteeism.

Anti-microbial filters imbued with Bactiguard respond to the dangers posed by filters as ideal breeding grounds for bacteria, yeasts, fungi and algae. The increased surface area provided through the pleated filter cells inserted into a vee-formation give an extended installed life 2-3 times longer than conventional bag filters. Because the Bacti-cell can handle high air volumes and lasts longer it is more energy-efficient. Energy-efficiency and its modular designs provides environmental-friendliness and effective filtration. And the cellular structure provides the versatility by allowing pleated paper, HEPA, or carbon filters to be installed according to the client's specifications.

Capable of effectively handling high air volumes, the Bacti-cell consistently outperforms conventional bag filters yet requires only half the filter depth. Incorporating impressive anti-microbial properties, Bacti-cell's unique construction is the secret of its success.

High efficiency glass fibre paper is uniformly pleated and sealed within a plastic cell. The cells are then accommodated in a space-saving 'vee-formation' array within a plastic housing, complete with header frame. The Bacti-cell cartridge is totally rigid and cannot sag or collapse under reduced or nil airflow.

Installation Options

The Bacti-cell is available as a one-off case purchase with replaceable cells, and comes in 3 standard face sizes with a choice of header depths to suit every application.

Installation of the unit is quick and simple, and replacement cells can be inserted in seconds.
