| ODOUR
/ GAS REMOVAL
Nationwide Filter Company offer a range of Activated Carbon
Products to deal effectively with specific odour and gas
removal.
|
Individually
sized Carbon Cells are supplied for
new or existing installations, whereby they may be fitted
in 'vee formation' within purpose made housings.
Alternatively a range of totally disposable Carbon
Packs are available to deal with specific air
volumes and effectively remove specific contaminants.
Banks of Carbon Packs can be built
up to accommodate any air volume. |

|
Applications
include: Odour removal on kitchen extract systems, removal of petrol
and diesel fumes on air intake systems, museums and art galleries
where removal of SO2 and other impurities is required to protect

NFC
Carbon Cells are manufactured-from a 'coconut based' activated
carbon which is immobilised (bonded together) to form a rigid mass.
A light duty scrim is added to the 'clean' side , and the assembly
housed in a steel surround frame.
NFC
Bonded Carbon Cells cannot 'settle' - as can be experienced
with 'loose-fill' carbons. 'Settling' of carbon in loose fill packs
will result in air by-pass thus rendering the 'filter' ineffective.
The
bonded construction eliminates the need for a particulate air filter
to be installed after the carbon filter.
Note:
Activated carbon filters must be protected from high loadings of
solid particulate matter, in order to remain effective and provide
an acceptable life cycle. A minimum filter grade of G4 should be
considered.
