MEDIUM TO HIGH GRADE MICROSAFE GLASS BAG FILTERS. F5 - F8

The NFM RANGE of bag filters are available in three grades, each providing a high degree of protection against staining contaminants, but in particular the NFM8 and NFM9 grades.

All bag filters are fitted with side seal as standard to reduce the risk of air by-pass on side access systems.

NFM BAG FILTERS are manufactured from microfine glass fibre material with each pocket being divided into separate air channels by a sealed stepped stitch method, allowing total media utilisation. Each pocket is supported on the clean side by a non-woven scrim, and the completed assembly is housed in a robust galvanised steel header.

Filter life can be greatly extended by the use of a pre-filter to remove large particulate matter, thus leaving the higher grade filter to deal with smaller sub-micron contaminants.

All NFM BAG FILTER grades conform to BS5588 Part 9 in respect of flammability. The complete filter is assessed for flammability and toxic smoke emission against the stringent LSS test procedure LSS/J/edition III.1990.

Applications include: hospitals, computer rooms, pharmaceutical industries, high specification office buildings, museums and art galleries.

All three grades NFM6, NFM8 and NFM9 are supplied in standard sizes as detailed below. Special sizes are manufactured to order. 22mm headers are fitted as standard, but 16mm, 25mm and 30mm deep may be fitted on request to suit existing applications.
